A lucky winner in his 40s, from N.Sembilan, won RM6.7 million through Super Toto 6/49 on 7 November 2009.

He said, with this new-found fortune, he would just resign from his supervisory job and venture out on his own, lay out a good education plan for his children and save the rest for prudent use in future.

He added that he was going to give RM50,000 to each one of his 20 over extended family members as a way of sharing as well as celebrating.

This is the second multi-million winning within a month.

Sports Toto Malaysia Sdn Bhd in a statement said, prior to that, 2 brothers-in-law from Sarawak jointly won RM10.8 million Mega Toto 6/52 jackpot on 11 October 2009.

Besides 3 digit games, Sports Toto Malaysia offers 3 lotto games i.e. Super Toto 6/49, Mega Toto 6/52 and Power Toto 6/55, and each jackpot game costs only RM1.

As of today, the RM20.9 million jackpot winning last December by a young chap from Pearak is still unsurpassed. Althrough a close figure, RM20 million was jointly won by 2 men from Johor and N.Sembilan respectively just 3 days after the RM20.9 million jackpot was struck.

2nd round of charity donation

Sports Toto is glad to launch the second round of the public donation campaign following the encouraging response from the public for the first round of its campaign in April and May this year which was held in conjunction with sports Toto National Charity Convoy.

The public donation campaign, via donation boxes at Sports Toto outlets as previously done, will commence from 15 November 2009 till 28 February 2010. The proceeds raised will be dedicated to the needy indigenous community in the Peninsular Malaysia as well as East Malaysia through selected NGOs.
